Group fire pit lifestyle - in 10 minutes or less
We were tasked with shooting a feature photo for the new Elway's Restaurant at the Lodge at Vail last week. With over 20 people including live music. Only problem was that we could only have the area for fifteen minutes. This included staging, lighting, direction of the talent and, oh yeah, shooting a photo.

Shooting the past week's events at Beaver Creek Resort brought lots of challenges highlighted by Body Miller and Lndsey Vonn winning downhill and Super G respectivly. The bitter cold of -15 on Monday's race; Men's Giant Slalom was a test of endurance and satmina for everyone from the racers to the photographers and course workers. These images will be used to help with the brand photography campaign for Beaver Creek and Vail ski resorts as they move toward the 2015 World A;lpine Ski Championships.

Shooting at Bimini Bay Resort we had an opportunity to include some of the local Bahamians. Kalik is the island beer of choice and Captain Jack - hiis real name - was the perfect subject for the ad shoot. I asked him to take his beer and stand under the spary of the pool's fountain, then shake out his rasta dreadlocks. What an image.

Just spent the past week coming out of knee surgery surgery and into a new office.
The space is awesome but we've giving up the view and location of Vail.
I have been getting some great feedback on the new site.
One great critique from my awesome mentor and friend Ken Redding - thanks man - .

An amazing lifestyle shoot in the Colorado back country last week.
We had two horse wranglers - studio lights tucked in the woods and an beautiful morning.
Using the dual lighting system in the field is a continuing challenge, but provides some incredible results

Well we woke up today and realized that we had indeed survived the Rapture.
So I guess I'll get back to editing.
After a flurry of shooting in crushing schedule we had in March and April, its time to settel down and edit all of the work from this past Winter Season.
I've been doing a lot of work with a cool program my friend Jeff Andrew - computer guru extrordinare - turned me on to. Its called OnOne.
It is a great way to run some fast pass filters over work, such as portraits, to make them look amazing.
